Subi Voice of Youth (SVY)

SVY-Harry-Potter.jpgThe SVY is a group of people aged twelve to twenty-five, who are interested in issues facing young people in the local and broader community. SVY members are given opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in leadership, communication, public speaking, team work and civic affairs.

The SVY plan and organise events and initiatives for local young people, such as Halloween makeup workshops, quiz nights and music competitions. SVY members are also given opportunities to have their say on City projects and planning.

The SVY meet every two months on Wednesday evenings. To learn more about what the SVY do, visit the SVY Facebook page.

The SVY is always looking for motivated young people who want to make a positive contribution to the community. Applications can be made year round by completing the expression of interest form. To be eligible to join applicants must be aged between twelve and twenty-five and live, work or study within the City of Subiaco.
