Residential Bulk Verge Collections
Bulk Green Waste Collection
The City has a tri-annual bulk green waste verge collection.
The next collection dates are booked for
16th June 2025 and
8th December 2025.
Loose green waste should be placed on verges
no earlier then the evening before pick-up and will be collected throughout the course of the week.
Please note:
- There will be no limit to the quantity of loose green waste that can be presented in large piles for these collections (not in green waste bags).
- Piles will need to be visible from the road and not include large branches/tree limbs that have been commercially lopped.
- Piles placed behind fence lines, in driveways, ROW or laneways will not be collected.
- Multi Unit Dwelling Residents can contact the Strata or Property Manager to find out where to place bulk green waste.

Bulk Hard Waste Collection
The City’s bulk hard waste collection is an opportunity to discard any bulk rubbish that cannot be reused or repaired.
The next collection is scheduled for the
4th August 2025.
Please note:
- All items must be out on the verge no later than 7.00AM on the 4th August to avoid missing the collection
- Mattresses are collected separately from all other items as they are taken to a different facility.
- E-Waste is also a seperate collection - please segregate these items from generic bulk waste items
- Piles placed behind fence lines, in driveways, ROW or laneways will not be collected.
- Multi Unit Dwelling Residents can contact the Strata or Property Manager to find out where to place bulk green waste.
- ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED: Paint, Any type of Glass panels (tables, mirrors & window panes), hazardous materials, tyres or any other vehicle parts, domestic household waste.

2024/25 Waste & Recycle Guide
The City of Subiaco offers General Waste and comingled Recycling collection services for residents, as well as green waste collection. For detailed information on what items go in each bin, visit the

In May 2023, the City adopted a
FOGO waste service.
Waste Collection Calendars will be issued with the Rates notice for the new Financial Year. Tip passes are attached to the Waste Collection Calendar.
Tip passes for the 2024/25 year are valid up until Wednesday 31 July 2025.
Residents that have opted in for E-Rates will be able to collect their Waste Calendars from the Customer Service & Council Chambers at 388 Hay Street
once they have received their Rates Notice.
