Neighbour Day Grant

Do you want to know your neighbours better, but never had the opportunity? Well now you do.

What is Neighbour Day?

Neighbour Day occurs annually on the last Sunday of March each year and aims to foster strong connections and build better relationships within our local community.

Social connection can improve health and wellbeing outcomes as it helps prevent loneliness, isolation and depression, and most importantly feels good.

Neighbour Day Grants 2019

The city is celebrating Neighbour Day 2019 with small grants of up to $100 for residents and local community groups to assist in hosting an event. The event can be anything from a BBQ to morning or afternoon tea, as long as it provides an environment for neighbours to meet and connect with each other.

Applications are open between Friday 2 February and close at 4pm on Monday 26 February, via the city’s website.

If you would like more information please contact the city on 9237 9304 or email culture@subiaco.wa.gov.au

What Neighbour Day events are in my area?

Check back after Monday 5 March for a list of all Neighbour Day events to find one close to you. Alternatively, you may also look at the list events being compiled on the Neighbour Day website.
