Subi Voice of Youth (SVY) members will be leading Q&A sessions with these authors. SVY is a group of people aged 12 to 25 who are interested in issues facing young people in the community. Members develop knowledge and skills in leadership, communication, public speaking, team work and civic affairs.
Pizza and drinks will be available at the events and Dymocks Subiaco will be selling books for signing after the Q&A session.
To kick off the YA series at the library, Holden Sheppard will talk about his new book,
The Brink.
Holden Sheppard
Holden is an award-winning author from Geraldton, whose won many accolades including the 2019 West Australian Premier’s Prize for an emerging writer and the 2018 Hungerford Award. His debut novel,
Invisible Boys, is now in development as a TV series.
