If you own a furry friend within the City of Subiaco, you’ll know that October is pet registration renewal time.
Registration is a legal requirement but also means that City Rangers can easily identify and return your pet to you in the event that they ever get lost.
You’ll receive notice of dog or cat registration renewal within the next few weeks and can pay either in-person at Customer Service (Level 2, 388 Hay Street, Subiaco), or
online.
The City introduced online options for renewal last year, making the process easier, quicker and more convenient for pet owners.
In your renewal notice, you’ll receive the current information the City has on file about your pet, including its name, microchip number, breed and colour.
If the information provided is correct, your animal registration can be renewed and paid online; if any details have changed, please notify the City via
email.
For any queries, please call the Compliance Services team on 9237 9222.
Under the Western Australia Dog Act 1976 and the Western Australia Cat Act 2011, all dogs and cats are required to be registered with your local government.
