Subiaco Library set to reopen in May

Following extensive renovation works, the Subiaco Library is set to reopen at 9.30am on Monday 13 May. 

The Subiaco Pop-up Library, located at 241 Rokeby Road, will close its doors at 7pm on Wednesday 24 April, to allow for the transition of books, equipment, and other resources back into the Subiaco Library building. 

The library's after-hours chute will be open 24/7 for returns from 9.30am on Friday 26 April, and entries for the 2024 Shaun Tan Award for Young Artists will be accepted via the door to the Children's Library (entry via Bagot Road) from Monday 29 April,

From Monday 13 May, full library programs and services will resume, including:
  • Full collection of books
  • Free WiFi
  • Public computers
  • Scanning and printing facilities
  • Study areas
  • Regular programs, including Games Club, English Conversation Club, Justice of the Peace service, Digication sessions, Yarn Club, Scrabble Club, Baby Rhymetime, Storytime, and more!
During the transition back to the library building, library patrons are encouraged to make use of the library's variety of free online resources, which include audiobooks, films, online magazines, e-books and more.
