The City will be marking Remembrance Day once more and, this year, there will be two special events for community members to attend.
A public
service will take place at 11am on Saturday 11 November at The Fallen Soldier's Memorial lead by the City and Subiaco-Shenton Park RSL.
This will be followed by a free morning tea outside the nearby Subiaco Museum (239 Rokeby Road, Subiaco).
Prior to this, on Thursday 2 November, Subiaco Museum will be hosting a special
Museum Morning event to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of The Fallen Soldier's Memorial and commemorate Remembrance Day.
The event will explore the construction history, community fundraising, memorial design, and the names listed on the Honour Rolls.
There will also be a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the clock winding process and the inner workings of the memorial.
