The winter school holidays are almost here, and Subiaco Library has the perfect array of activities to keep young minds engaged and little hands busy during the coming cooler days.
From LEGO and crafts to board games and – of course – storytime, events cater for a range of ages, and include options the whole family can enjoy.
This year’s program includes three special highlights:
- NAIDOC Storytime: Join special guest Freda Ogilvie for yarns, stories, songs and crafts at this special storytime event at Lords Recreation Centre at 10.30 am on Friday 7 July.
- LEGO Art & Build competition: Dads, mums, grandparents and any other keen family members are invited to join forces to build their very own epic masterpieces with return of this popular event. This year the competition will be held on Saturday 15 July at 2pm at the Palms Community Centre.
- Zine Creation: Kids will love spending the whole afternoon making their very own zines on any topic they are passionate about, using a fun range of craft materials, at the library on Tuesday 11 July at 2pm.
