City of Subiaco residents will start receiving their rates notices electronically or by post this week.
Included with the rates notice are your waste passes for the 2022-23 financial year, and the budget brochure which explains how rates are calculated.
We’ve put together some handy links which answer common questions to help you understand the rates notices.
What do rates do?
Each year, home owners pay rate services on their properties. Rates help create a sustainable and prosperous city with high quality services and amenities, creating a stronger local economy and community.
Where can I get more information about rate calculations?
Read the
2022-23 Budget Brochure on the City’s website.
Why has my waste service charge increased?
The City’s waste service charges have increased to cover the cost of implementing the Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) waste system, along with two additional green waste collections per year. This equates to an annual increase of $19 per standard residential service.
How can I pay my rates?
The City of Subiaco has a few different options to help you pay your rates in a convenient way for you, including online, over the phone, in person, or by post.
Whichever option you choose, please have your rates notice handy. Your individual payment reference number is located on the bottom right-hand portion.
