Want a sneak peek at some of the most precious textile items from the Subiaco Museum collection?
The musuem are hosting a special nighttime edition of their popular 'How to read a dress' event, which sold out when it was first held in 2023.
During the event, you'll have the chance to explore the history of fashion in Australia; including garment construction, design inspiration, and how dresses varied based on occasion, age, and social status.
This session will include items that date back to the late 1800s, including two wedding dresses worn by Subiaco brides.
The free event will take place on
Thursday 7 March from
5.30pm to 7pm. Seats are sure to go fast, so

There will also be a
daytime session of this 'How to read a dress' event, from 10am to 11.30am on Thursday 7 March. This event is currently booked out, but you can add your name to the waitlist.
