Subiaco Common has recently received a much-needed lighting upgrade to enhance safety, maximise the use of the reserve, and reduce running costs.
The installation of LED lighting at this popular park – which included light poles, luminaires and wall lights – was completed this week after several months of works.
The renewal program means Subiaco Common lighting now exceeds the Australian standard and, because energy efficient replacements were used, running costs will be significantly reduced.
The upgrade will also help enhance the safety of Subiaco Common for all users, ensure use of the park is maximised, and attract new visitors with the improved aesthetic.
This is one of many upgrades happening throughout the City of Subiaco.
