Good Sammy’s will be rolling out a trial of their household collection service in Daglish and Jolimont to make donating pre-loved clothing, accessories and shoes easier for residents after the City agreed to an initial trial period.
The team will deliver (via e-trike!) a yellow bag to households in the trial area from Monday 23 October and collect the filled bag on Monday 6 November direct from your house.
Households simply need to put the filled bag near their letterbox on collection day and Good Sammy’s will pick it up, alongside up to four other bags of household goods.
Good Sammy’s has successfully rolled out this initiative in a number of other WA councils and may expand their offering in the City of Subiaco if this collection is well utilised and received by the community.
