To celebrate WA Youth Week 2024 (5 to 12 April), the City of Subiaco is hosting three fun, free events for young people aged between 15 and 25.
From a basketball tournament at Lords to virtual reality gaming, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Basketball competition
Saturday 6 April, 10.30am to 2pm, Lords Recreation Centre
Absorb pro-level basketball tips, tricks and drills at this fun basketball competition and training session at Lords. There will be complimentary lunch and refreshments provided.

Skate clinic
Tuesday 9 April, 1.30pm to 3.30pm, Palms Community Centre
Skaters aged between 10 and 18 are invited to come together for a day of tricks, flips, and fun. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, experienced instructors will be on hand to guide you and help you improve your skills. There will also be a free sausage sizzle.
Don’t forget to bring your own skateboard, helmet, and protective gear.

VR gaming
Wednesday 10 April, 12.30pm to 1.30pm or 2pm to 3pm, Shenton Park Community Centre
