The City of Subiaco has bolstered its commitment to supporting community initiatives with the launch of the Subiaco Community Organisation Learning Hub.
The innovative platform was built to empower community groups, not-for-profit organisations and individuals by providing a wealth of resources to enhance their skills and impact within the community.
Mayor David McMullen expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting how it will help foster collaboration and upskilling.
"The Subiaco Community Organisation Learning Hub aims to help foster a thriving and supportive community,” he said.
“By equipping local organisations with resources, knowledge, tools and training we empower them to deliver on their mission and objectives. This flows through to positive impact in our community." Mayor McMullen said.
The newly launched Hub offers a diverse range of resources including templates, videos, short courses, webinars and more. Covering topics such as boards and committees, grants, fundraising, event planning, volunteers, risk management and marketing, the Hub caters to the varied needs of community organisations.
Membership to the Subiaco Community Organisation Learning Hub is currently available for free, with limited memberships valid until March 2025. Eligible groups include not-for-profit community organisations within the City of Subiaco or those providing support services to a significant number of City residents.
