The City of Subiaco held its Annual Electors’ Meeting tonight, with a number of community members in attendance.
Mayor David McMullen highlighted some important event and achievements from 2020-21, including the City’s comprehensive COVID-19 relief and support package, a zero per cent rate rise for the second year running, the planting of some significant trees, and the ward and representation review – to name a few.
Local governments are required to hold a general meeting of electors once every financial year, in accordance with the Local Government Act, to consider the contents of the Annual Report and to raise other general business.
It is an opportunity for the City to touch base with the community, reflect on the last financial year and invite ratepayers to ask questions and voice any concerns or ideas they may have.
The minutes of the meeting will be available on the City’s website soon, and the meeting was
live streamed and recorded on the City’s YouTube channel.
Annual reports and financial statements can be viewed on the
City's important documents webpage.
