The City of Subiaco is pleased to announce its new Executive Leadership Team, with the appointment of four new Directors to the recently advertised positions.
Through a highly competitive process, the City now has recruited for the directorates of Business Improvement, Corporate Services, Development Services and Technical Services.
The Director positions became vacant over the past two years due to career development as well as a retirement (see Scott Hawkins retires). In joining the City in August 2021, this provided a rare opportunity for CEO Colin Cameron to recruit a new leadership team to deliver the City of Subiaco vision.
CEO Colin Cameron said, “This is an exciting time for the City of Subiaco, with renewed business confidence and vibrant community, as well as commencing an ambitious organisational transformation – a complete overhaul of our systems and processes to ensure our community have the best access to human and digital services.
“All four Directors have a great blend of local government and private sector experience, equipping them to thoroughly understand and appreciate the complex challenges of our beautiful inner-city suburb. I’d like to congratulate them all on their appointment and welcome them to the lead team.”
Mayor David McMullen said, “Our community has high expectations for the future of the City of Subiaco, and I’m confident that the CEO has selected an executive whom he believes will work at the highest level as part of our almost 300-person workforce to deliver on those expectations.
“I welcome the new team to the City and look forward to them working with Council to advance the interests of the broader Subiaco community.”
