Committees

Advisory committees assist Council in the decision-making process and are established every two years following an ordinary local government election.

Agendas and minutes from each meeting are published on the City’s agendas and minutes page. Recommendations from all committees are referred to Council for consideration and determination.

To ensure professional conduct and effective governance, each of the City’s committees follows the Code of Conduct for Committee Members.

To find out more about the City's advisory committees please see below.

The Audit, Risk and Improvement Committees primary objective is to guide and assist the local government in carrying out its financial management and auditing functions. The committee also reports to Council on the City’s progress on these matters.

The committee is guided by the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee Terms of Reference.

Meetings of the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee are open to the public and begin at 3:30pm at Level 2/388 Hay Street, Subiaco. Please note that Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee meetings are for observation only. Public participation (i.e. questions or statements) is not permitted.
