A bulk green waste collection will take place on Monday 8 December 2025.
This is the final bulk green waste collection for the City, as it transitions to a pre-booked service that allows residents to dispose of green waste when they need it picked up, instead of in a City-wide bulk collection.
A pre-booked bulk green waste service, which began in the City in September 2025, offers each household three pre-booked collections of up to 3 cubic metres of green waste, per year. This service can be booked via the Western Metropolitan Regional Council website up to eight weeks in advance.
For the bulk green waste collection on Monday 8 December, please note:
Loose green waste can be placed on verges 1-3 days prior to collection but no later than 7 am on the morning of collection.
Piles will need to be visible from the road and not include large branches/tree limbs that have been commercially lopped.
Up to 3 cubic meters (3m x 1m x 1m) of loose green waste can be put out per collection.
