Festive season opening hours

Christmas opening huors
City of Subiaco staff will be taking a break over the festive season to spend time with loved ones and recharge for an exciting 2026 ahead!

As such, opening hours at Customer Service, Subiaco Library, Subiaco Museum and Lords Recreation Centre will temporarily change. See below.

Don’t forget, during the holiday period, you can take advantage of our online services. If you need emergency assistance (that does not require police attendance) outside of business hours, you can call (08) 9237 9222.

Customer Service – Level 2, 388 Hay Street

Closed from 2pm Wednesday 24 December, resuming normal opening hours from Monday 5 January 2026.

Subiaco Library

  • Closed from Thursday 25 December (Christmas Day) until Sunday 28 December, reopening on Monday 29 December.
  • Closed on Thursday 1 January (New Years Day). 
  • Revised opening hours on Christmas Eve and other dates across the festive season - visit the library webpage for full opening hours. 

Subiaco Museum

  • Closed from Tuesday 23 December, reopening Saturday 3 January.

Lords Recreation Centre

  • Closed Christmas Day.
  • Reduced hours on some days – details here.
  • The café will be closed from Monday 22 December, reopening on Monday 12 January.
  • The creche will be closed from Wednesday 25 December, reopening on Friday 2 January.
