The City of Subiaco has been crowned the winner at the National Economic Development Awards 2022.
The City took out top spot in the ‘Economic Marketing and Promotion’ category for campaigns and events delivered through its destination marketing brand, See Subiaco, during the COVID-19 pandemic. These include
Subi Blooms (pictured),
Sustainable Style Series and
Subiaco Eat, Drink, Live magazine.
Mayor David McMullen said, “The City of Subiaco works hard to support business.
“We designed and curated a series of innovative, high impact campaigns and events, in a way that would be least susceptible to disruption from the pandemic and associated restrictions.
“We were up against some serious competition - including larger councils. I’m exceptionally proud of what the City has delivered.
“Taking out top spot in this prestigious award recognises our hard work and innovative approach on the national stage.”
City of Subiaco was crowned the winner at an Awards Gala during the National Economic Development Conference 2022 at Luna Park in Sydney. CEO Colin Cameron accepted the award on behalf of the City.
