City charges up for WA first with EasyPark

EV
In a WA first, electric vehicle (EV) charging in the City of Subiaco can be managed alongside parking sessions through the EasyPark app from today, Monday 28 July.

Previously, EV charging and parking were separately managed by motorists, meaning this integration is set to make EV charging and parking in the City more convenient and efficient for drivers.

The EasyPark app also contains real-time information so drivers are able to view charger availability and choose the most suitable location, power, and timing to charge up.

There will be a flat service fee of 50 cents for each charging session managed via the app.

As is the case with non-electric vehicles, if parking is free at a particular location, there will be no parking charge incurred via EasyPark.

Signage will soon be installed at the City’s two EV charging stations, at Rowland Street and Lords Recreation Centre, to inform the community of the new EasyPark integration.
