WA Comedy Week brings a barrel of laughs to Subi
Subiaco is set to host this year’s WA Comedy Week Festival, featuring a lineup of hilarious stand-up, improv, theatre and more.
From Monday 18 to Saturday 23 August, Subiaco Arts Centre, Bark Subiaco and Lums Wine Bar will be taken over by some of the funniest comedians from WA. The week is sponsored by
See Subiaco and presented by WA Comedy.
Plus, homegrown and crowd favourite comedian Joel Creasey is making his WA Comedy Week debut at this year's festival with his show with Janelle Koenig at the Subiaco Arts Centre.
Highlights for the festival include:
- The Fresh Comedy Showcase of WA hosted by Xavier Michelides, 8.30pm, Tuesday 19 August, Bark Subiaco
- WA Comedy Imports – Internationals Showcase, 8.30pm, Wednesday 20 August, Lums Wine Bar (upstairs)
- Girl Power Comedy Hour hosted by Sian Choyce, 8.30pm, Thursday 21 August, Lums Wine Bar (upstairs)
- Bogan Shakespeare: Macbeth, 7pm, Friday 22 August, Subiaco Arts Centre
- Joel and Janelle Have Stories to Tell, 2pm, Saturday 23 August, Subiaco Arts Centre.
