Rosalie Park now features a climbing wall, parkour equipment, a slide, balance logs and more thanks to a major upgrade that has seen the space transform over the past 18 months.
These updates are part of Stage Two of the Rosalie Park mixed-use community space project, which aims to activate a previously underutilised area of the park.
Stage One, which was completed in April 2022, saw the creation of community garden beds, and the building of basketball, cricket, tennis, netball and ping pong facilities.
Mayor David McMullen said, “The upgrades at Rosalie Park are another fantastic addition to our many family-friendly parks and playgrounds. Combined with Stage 1, they have introduced variety and versatility to a previously underutilised area of the park.
“Many thanks to the City’s hard-working Parks and Environment team, and to the community who had their say in consultation early in the Rosalie upgrades. Now it's over to the community to enjoy and make the most of the new area.”
