The Subi Night Market presented by See Subiaco is officially back - bringing the energy, flavour and charm of a European summer to the heart of Subiaco every Saturday night.
With the warmer months only a stone's throw away, the event returns to Market Square Park from Saturday 20 September 2025 to Saturday 25 April 2026, transforming the leafy green park into a buzzing village-style gathering place for locals, travellers and everyone in between.
Inspired by the warm, vibrant evenings of Italy and the south of France, this season promises an experience that’s equal parts delicious and dreamy.
With over 40 rotating food vendors serving everything from handmade Italian arancini to chocolate-dipped bananas, Subi Night Market is a feast in every sense of the word. Expect Belgian chocolate strawberries, gourmet eclairs, and an international street food lineup that caters to every craving.
For those keen to browse and buy, the artisan stalls are back and bigger than ever, showcasing local creatives and makers with everything from coastal-inspired pieces and small-batch candles to locally sourced, dog-friendly snacks.
Back for another round is local gin distillery Spirit of Little Things, serving up their signature botanical cocktails and local brews - perfect for a golden-hour picnic or aperitif before kicking on in Subi.
By popular demand, Meet Your Street - a community initiative inviting locals to nominate their street for a reserved long table, where neighbours can relax, connect, and enjoy a drink together under the lights, returns!
Adding to the European charm, visitors can expect surprise performances each week, from jazz and cabaret to opera, accordion, open air movies and other world-inspired acts as part of our Matinee series.
Whether you pull up a Parisian-style table or roll out a picnic rug, Market Square Park is the perfect setting for laidback summer evenings under the stars. Families, groups of friends and even four-legged companions are all welcome.
Located right next to Subiaco Train Station, the market is easy to access via train, bus, foot or bike - and visitors are encouraged to leave the car at home and travel light.
Mayor David McMullen said the buzz and vibrancy of the market is a highlight on the City's busy events calendar.
