As part of its Heritage Grants Fund, Council has awarded seven grants for works on heritage properties at its October Council Meeting.
These heritage grants provide funding for conservation works which are in the public view and enhance and reveal the heritage significance of the property, and/or urgent conservation works required in order to stabilise a building.
Of the seven grants awarded, proposed works include replacing roof sheeting and gutters, re-instating a chimney, re-instating stained glass leadlight, and verandah maintenance.
The City appreciates the dedication of homeowners who work to conserve and enhance their heritage properties.
