Save water this summer
With the hot, dry weather fast approaching, now’s the time to the time to think about reducing water usage in and around your home.
Last summer, WA exceeded its water use target by 3.1 gigalitres – over 1000 Olympic sized swimming pools! In the Perth Metro area, dam levels have dropped by nearly 8% compared to last year.
Now more than ever, we need to be proactive in saving water – especially in our backyards, where 28% of household water use occurs.
Simple actions like hydro-zoning your garden and utilising greywater can make a big difference.
