It’s going to be the summer of markets for Subiaco with the City proud to announce its support of a weekly night market starting this November.
Subi Night Market will take over Market Square Park every Saturday night from 11 November to 6 April bringing culinary delights, delicious tipples, live music, pre-loved fashion and art together under a European-inspired village atmosphere.
A curated selection of Perth’s best pop-up food stalls will be ready to welcome visitors with a mix of 40 international cuisines, gourmet delicacies and delicious desserts.
Local distillery, Spirit of Little Things Gin, will be serving up a range of botanical concoctions that are perfect for sipping on as the sun sets in the park, and a dedicated section of the market will be bustling with Perth’s best vintage sellers.
City of Subiaco Mayor David McMullen said, “The City is proud to be supporting the night markets as key sponsor to bring additional buzz and vibrancy to Subiaco over the summer months.
“City staff have worked swiftly and decisively to make this opportunity a reality for Subiaco.
“I encourage everyone to come along on a warm summer Saturday and spend the rest of the afternoon or evening exploring Subiaco’s many great restaurants, retailers and bars.”
Market Square Park is a short walk from Subiaco train station and parking is free in the majority of City-owned carparks every Saturday and Sunday.
Subi Night Market will start at 4pm and run until 9pm every Saturday from Saturday 11 November 2023 to Saturday 6 April 2024.
It is also supported by DevelopmentWA.
The City supports a number of other markets, including a special market event at ONE Subiaco tomorrow (Saturday 7 October) and the popular Subi Farmers Markets, which are on every Saturday morning from 8am to 12pm at Subiaco Primary School.
