New businesses in Subi
Subiaco is going to go from strength to strength with businesses continuing to set up shop in our thriving neighbourhoods.
Some new arrivals to Subi’s hospitality and retail scene include:
- The Embassy by Devlin's – taking over 87 Rokeby Road, The Embassy is timeless dining with juicy steaks, freshly shucked oysters and a New York baked cheesecake that will have you coming back for more.
- The Foreign Office – officially opening at the beginning of April, this bar can be found behind The Embassy and is a great addition to Subi’s buzzing bar scene.
- Pinos Empanadas – Perth’s first-ever dedicated empanadas bakery is serving up traditional fillings, including spiced beef and curry chicken, as well as vegan options and irresistible sweet treats.
- Imagine That Lifestyle – a modern boho lifestyle concept store with the sustainable ethos that you only need to buy once if you buy well.
- Kivari – the latest store for this well-loved Australian fashion label that consciously create quality clothing utilising natural fibres and alternative manufacturing methods.
- Sushia – a stone’s throw away from the train station, this grab and go spot is serving up high quality sushi at takeaway prices.
- Shondel Swimwear – consciously crafted slow-fashion resort and swimwear.
- Tomo (pictured above) – this authentic casual Japanese spot has been drawing the lunchtime crowds to Hay Street for a few months now, but they are proving so popular that they’ve extended their opening hours and are now doing dinner so you can get your Tomo fix.
- Casa del Dolce – opening soon, this house of sweets will be bringing traditional Italian pastries to Subiaco, including their famous cannoli’s.
- One Sushi – tucked away under ONE Subiaco is a fresh new sushi spot to get a delicious lunch or snack. You can’t go wrong.
