The annual Native Plant Subsidy Scheme returns for the month of May to help residents beautify their garden with waterwise native species.
City of Subiaco residents can purchase up to 80 native seedlings for just $3 each from Apace Nursery (1 Johannah Street, North Fremantle).
Starting from Thursday 1 May for one month, or until stocks run out, you can pick up your new natives from 8.30am to 2pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays.
Not only do native plants look great in your garden, they also require little water and fertiliser once established and contribute to local biodiversity.
