Native Plant Subsidy Scheme returns in May

NativePlants 0577

The annual Native Plant Subsidy Scheme returns for the month of May to help residents beautify their garden with waterwise native species.

This year, City of Subiaco residents can purchase up to 40 native seedlings for just $3 each from Apace Nursery (1 Johannah Street, North Fremantle).

Starting from Thursday 1 May for one month, or until stocks run out, you can pick up your new natives from Tuesday to Saturday from 8.30am to 2.30pm.

Not only do native plants look great in your garden, they also require little water and fertiliser once established and contribute to local biodiversity.

For further details, please visit the Plant Subsidy Scheme - Apace WA or email the City at parkservices@subiaco.wa.gov.au.

Please take proof of your residential address and photo ID with you to the nursery.

This initiative is proudly co-funded by the Water Corporation's Waterwise Greening Scheme and forms part of our ambition for Subiaco to be a leading waterwise city.
