Lords launches weekly accessible sports classes

Lords Recreation Centre is launching a new accessible sports program called ‘Active and Social’, aimed at participants aged 18 and older who are living with disability.

The program provides a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that supports individual pacing and comfort.

The classes run weekly on Tuesday mornings from 10am to 11am, commencing Tuesday 3 March, and cost $12 per session. Support workers or companions are welcome to attend at no additional cost.

Participants are also invited to attend an optional catch-up to socialise at the Lords café after each session.

The sessions are adapted to suit a range of abilities, mobility levels, and sensory needs, and are run by experienced Lords team members.
