The Metro Inner-North Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) has deferred a decision on a development application at 424-428 and 440 Hay for 120 days.
The City’s position was to refuse the proposal as it was inconsistent with its Local Planning Scheme No. 5 which seeks to preserve and promote heritage in Subiaco.
The buildings have previously been identified as making considerable contribution to the Rokeby Road and Hay Street Heritage Area.
