Imagine tomorrow, today

HYSS Subi scene
  • The City is developing its new Council Plan and wants to hear from you
  • Have your say on the future of the City through an online survey or drop-in sessions
  • The plan will include a vision for the City and strategic priorities and outcomes

The City is inviting residents, workers and visitors to co-create the future of our district by providing input into our new Council Plan.

The plan will include a new, future-facing vision, strategic priorities and outcomes across themes including lifestyle and wellbeing, natural environment, local economy, built environment, governance and leadership.

Throughout design of the Council Plan, the City will place on strong emphasis on the community’s current priorities and future aspirations for the district.

Mayor David McMullen said there will be a number of opportunities to help shape the future of the City of Subiaco.

“We’ve already gathered valuable insights from many of you about the priorities you’d like us to focus on in the coming years, through community engagement initiatives like our recent Community Scorecard and input to the Economic Development Strategy,” he said.

“Now, we’re taking the next step to make sure what we’ve heard truly reflects the community’s vision for Subiaco’s future; we’re offering drop-in sessions as well as a simple online survey to encourage your input.

"City representatives will also be at the Subiaco Farmers Market and Subiaco Night Market on Saturday 30 November – making the most of these popular and enjoyable settings, to maximise our reach.

"I encourage everyone to get involved; your input is vital in shaping a bold, vibrant and thriving Subiaco, and well help us align the City’s strategic priorities with what matters most to you."

Once a draft Council Plan has been developed, it will be shared with the community for feedback before it is adopted by Council.
