The works are required to minimise localised flooding on Hay Street and includes the installation of new soak wells and inter-connecting pipes.
They are due to be completed by Friday 11 April 2025.
The City is taking every effort to minimise disruption during the works but access to the street and properties may be restricted at times.
Hay Street will remain open for cars for the duration of the work; pedestrians will be detoured at times.

Hay Street drainage works
The City is currently undertaking drainage works on Hay Street in the vicinity of the Denis Street intersection.The works are required to minimise localised flooding on Hay Street and includes the installation of new soak wells and inter-connecting pipes.
