Grand final event to return to Subiaco Oval this September
The Final, proudly presented by See Subiaco, is returning to the iconic Subiaco Oval for Grand Final day on Saturday 27 September.
On the day, the oval is set to be transformed into a footy lover's paradise, with a broadcast of the game on massive screens, DJs and silent disco sessions, food trucks, bars and drink specials, carnival rides, and special game day competitions including the half-time dash, a footy kicking challenge and a pie eating contest.
This year's event will feature two unique zones to cater for every type of fan, including a free community zone, thanks to See Subiaco. Fans in this area can enjoy free entry featuring the live game broadcast, food trucks, carnival rides and a family-friendly vibe - RSVPs are required to secure a spot.
The second zone will be a premium ticketed area, with a range of exclusive zones within it that offer prime views, premium seating, and access to upgraded food and beverage options.
Mayor David McMullen said, "We want to see Subiaco Oval come alive for an unforgettable event, with the energy of this year's AFL Grand Final. What better Perth venue could there be than these grounds which are apart of WA football history.
"Footy will always remain part of Subi's story. But in the years post-AFL, Subi has evolved. So come for The Final, and also explore the wide array of local venues here in our City."
