5000 kilograms were collected in the 2025 Good Sammy household collection – resulting in 43 tonnes of carbon emissions avoided through reuse of donated clothing and accessories.
The household collection drive is back for 2026, with pick-ups commencing from Monday 30 March and including clothes, shoes and accessories in accepted items.
City of Subiaco residents will receive a yellow bag on their verge that they can fill, and that will be collected by the Good Sammy team. There will also be a flyer in the bag with information on accepted items and conditions of items.
This household collection, which commenced in 2023, helps to promote the benefits of a circular economy by providing City of Subiaco residents with an at-home donation kit that they can fill with pre-loved clothing, accessories, and other household items.
