The City always has a plethora of fun activities on to keep the kids busy during the school holidays (and teach them a thing or two without even realising it!).
The library program always sells out early so get in quick for Lego builds, crafts, games and more with bookings open from Monday 18 December.
The library activities kick off on Tuesday 9 January with rock art and outdoor games, and other highlights include watercolour painting at Lake Jualbup, a Mario Kart tournament, and DIY foam airplanes.
The
Summer Reading Quest is now on with prizes along the way for how many books you can read, how often you read, and what different things you can read. And for those under five, the Summer Steps card is filled with fun activities for families to do together.
Lords Recreation Centre is also a great spot to beat holiday boredom with bookable programs, alongside a pool and sports courts to burn off some energy and keep the kids active while school’s out.
While you’re in the neighbourhood, drop by to say ‘happy first birthday’ to Subiaco’s very own Giant,
Bille Bob by world-renowned Danish artist Thomas Dambo. Bille has recently had some TLC and is looking good as new just in time for some birthday celebrations!
