Free events for Youth Week

MOI_0050_SocoStudios
WA Youth Week is almost here, and to celebrate, the City of Subiaco is presenting three fun, free events for young people aged between 10 and 25.

Youth Week provides young people with opportunities to express ideas, raise important issues, and showcase their talents and contributions.

It also gives the wider community an opportunity to listen to young people and celebrate their positive contributions.

While the City provides a strong program of events and initiatives for young people throughout the year, we also look to run additional events throughout Youth Week to celebrate the young people in our community and ensure their voice is heard.

This year’s free Youth Week events:

Laser tag
Friday 11 April
Session 1 (12-15yrs), 6pm to 7.30pm
Session 2 (15-25yrs), 8pm to 9.30pm
Test your skills in a friendly, action-packed competition of laser tag at Subiaco Library. Get ready to strategise, dodge lasers, and have a blast with your friends.

Basketball Competition
Sunday 13 April, 10.30am to 2pm
Have a shot at winning some amazing prizes, absorb pro-level basketball tips, tricks, and drills that will help polish up your skills. Includes free lunch and refreshments.

Skate Clinic
Tuesday 15 April, 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Held at the Palms Community Centre Skate Park, skaters of all levels aged 10 to 18 years can come together for a day of tricks, flips, and fun. Plus, enjoy a free sausage sizzle.

Youth Week WA 2025 will be celebrated from 10 to 17 April 2025.
