EV chargers now live across the City

EV charger Website
Electric vehicle (EV) chargers are now live and ready for use from 5pm today.

Seven chargers are now available for use across two stations: two 7.4kW chargers at Rowland Street and five 22kW chargers at Lords Recreation Centre.

Charging fees of $0.45 per kWh apply at both stations, with a penalty of $1 per minute applied to EVs charging beyond the allocated time, with a 15-minute grace period allowed.

Fees and time limits were developed in consultation with State Government and other local governments to support consistent and sustainable use.

At Rowland Street, EV users may be required to pay for parking in the same manner as the rest of the area.

The City provides free parking in its carparks and streets every evening after 5pm, and all weekend long.
