Draft Council Plan – have your say
In late 2024 we went out to the community with a robust consultation to find out what vision residents, visitors, workers, students and local businesses had for the City.
The valuable information and insights we gathered informed the development of the City’s
draft inaugural Council Plan. This guiding document will replace the current Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Business Plan. It establishes a refreshed 10-year vision for the community, as well as new strategic objectives and a suite of projects to support achievement of the strategic objectives.
The Council Plan will be the City’s most important strategic document and guide Council and Administration's decision making, budget allocations and service provision.
Before Council adoption, we want to know whether the draft Council Plan is reflective of community perspectives and priorities - in other words, 'have we heard you right?'
Whether you are a resident, worker, student, young adult, parent, senior, business owner, visitor or special interest group – we want to hear from you! The opportunity to provide feedback on the draft Council Plan is available via our
survey which is open from Thursday 1 May to 7pm on Saturday 31 May.
