Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide feedback on the concept design for the new civic building and gardens at 241 Rokeby Road.
Following a three-and-a-half month engagement period, community engagement closed on Friday 27 February 2026. The feedback gathered will now be analysed by an external agency and presented to Council to inform future decision making.
The City will update the community on key themes that emerged once the analysis is complete. There has been a significant amount of feedback, particularly related to the below key themes:
- Trees and green space
- Cost
- Amenities
- Heritage
- Design
Further updates will be shared with the community via the City’s website and other channels over the coming months.
