Come along to Harmony Storytimes
Subiaco Library are hosting a series of multicultural story time sessions called Harmony Storytime.
Recent Census results show that the City of Subiaco community is becoming more diverse. To reflect this, the library is running regular multicultural Storytime so we can better learn and experience the diversity of our communities through story and activities for children.
After the success of the Mandarin Storytime sessions earlier in the year, Subiaco Library will be running additional Storytimes in a variety of languages, such as French, Spanish, Irish, Japanese, Noongar, and Australian Sign Language. No language experience is necessary and they are suitable for children aged 3 to 12.
Activities will run in both English and the featured language of the month to encourage learning and engagement with the many communities that reside within the City of Subiaco.
These sessions will run until July next year and coincide with cultural events celebrated by the Subiaco community, including NAIDOC Week and Pride Month.
Harmony Storytime launches Wednesday 3 August and will run on the first Wednesday of the month from 3.30pm to 4pm. For more information, visit
