City to sponsor delegate for Curtin Ignition program
The City of Subiaco will again partner with Curtin University’s Business School to sponsor the 2026 Ignition program.
As part of this sponsorship, the City will support a delegate to attend the program, which is a five-and-a-half day intensive comprised of practical training sessions, expert clinics, and mentorship opportunities.
Olga Abbott, an Ignition participant sponsored by the City in 2024, said the program enabled her to refine the business plan for Studio Thimbles, located on Hay Street.
"The program exceeded my expectations. While I anticipated learning practical business strategies, I didn't expect to build such strong networking and personal connections," she said.
"Ignition is a must for anyone serious about taking their business idea to the next level. It provides a wealth of knowledge, access to expert mentors, and an inspiring environment where you can get feedback on ideas, refine strategies, and connect with like-minded individuals."
