The vacancy will be for an East Ward councillor for a two-year term.
The election will be held Saturday 16 October to fill the following vacancies:
Nominations open Thursday 2 September and close 4pm Thursday 9 September.
Election packages will be posted approximately three weeks before election day, and completed ballots must be received by 6pm on election day.

Change to election vacancies
Due to the resignation of Councillor Blake Phelan, there is now an additional councillor vacancy in the upcoming City of Subiaco local government elections.The vacancy will be for an East Ward councillor for a two-year term.
The election will be held Saturday 16 October to fill the following vacancies:
- District 1 Mayor – 4 year term
- East Ward 1 Councillor – 4 year term
- East Ward 1 Councillor – 2 year term
- South Ward 1 Councillor – 4 year term
