Mayor David McMullen thanked community members who took the time to attend the meeting and highlighted some key achievements from the 2023-24 financial year.
These included achieving industry leading scores in the latest community scorecard and maintaining one of the lowest rate rises across metro Perth.
The Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements for the 2023-24 financial year were carried by all in attendance.
A number of questions were raised by community members in attendance covering a variety of topics from parking permits and street art to the new future civic building.
One community member raised five motions with one being carried (2-1) asking the Council to investigate the digital permit platform user experience and user interface. This motion will be taken to the February Ordinary Council Meeting to decide if and/or how to decision should be progressed.
