Annual Electors’ Meeting held
The City of Subiaco held its Annual Electors Meeting on Thursday 18 December in Council Chambers.
Mayor David McMullen thanked community members who took the time to attend the meeting and highlighted some key achievements from the 2024-25 financial year.
These included the endorsement of the 2025-2035 Council Plan, the City's partnership with SPACEMRKT to transform vacant shopfronts, the 38th season of the sunset@subi concert series, and maintaining one of the lowest rate rises across metro Perth.
The Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements for the 2024-25 financial year were carried by all in attendance.
A number of questions were raised by community members in attendance covering a variety of topics from pedestrian safety and the new civic building and gardens.
Several motions related to the new civic building and gardens were carried, and will be discussed at the Ordinary Council Meeting in February 2026.
