Following the October local government elections, there will be a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday 19 October to swear in the elected Councillors and Mayor and to elect a Deputy Mayor. At a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday 26 October Elected Members will be appointed to the City’s committees and external organisations and bodies.
Amendment to Council Meeting dates
After a decision of Council at last week’s meeting, the June and August Council meeting dates have changed to the following:- June Agenda Briefing Forum – Tuesday 15 June
- June Ordinary Council Meeting – Tuesday 22 June
- August Agenda Briefing Forum – Tuesday 17 August
- August Ordinary Council Meeting – Tuesday 24 August
