The City will provide an additional verge green waste collection per year for households after an Elected Members Motion was carried at this week’s Ordinary Council Meeting.
It’s hoped the motion will help encourage and support residents to retain trees on their property by assisting them to dispose of larger cuttings, branches and leaves.
The additional collection will commence in 2024; more details will be released in the coming months.
