The City of Subiaco’s mental health awareness campaign, The Box, has won bronze in the Employee Communications Campaign category at the 2026 CPRA Golden Target Awards.

The award was announced in Sydney on Thursday 17 September, as the national communications awards celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Produced by the City’s Communications and Engagement team, The Box is a five-part video series capturing employees’ reactions as they receive heartfelt letters of appreciation from their colleagues.

The City was also shortlisted in the Community Relations and Engagement Campaign category for its engagement on the proposed new civic building and gardens. The City was the only local government shortlisted in either category.

The bronze award adds to national recognition for The Box, which was also named a finalist in the Australian Marketing Institute’s 2026 Marketing Excellence Awards.
