The sights, sounds, and flavours of a European summer are returning to Subiaco as Subi Night Market transforms Market Square Park into a bustling Saturday night destination from 5 September 2026 to 8 May 2027.
After welcoming more than 130,000 visitors last season, the beloved market is back for its biggest and most exciting season yet, bringing eight months of food, live entertainment, and community connection to the heart of Subiaco.
Whether settling in at a Parisian-style table, spreading out a picnic rug, or wandering between stalls, visitors can enjoy a European-inspired evening under the stars each week.
This season will introduce six new food and drink vendors:
Cha Pang, serving fresh Thai pancake rolls with sweet and savoury fillings
Celtic Cravings, offering Irish-inspired comfort food
Piadina Nonna Pina, specialising in hand-charred Italian flatbreads
MatchérieXO, serving hand-whisked Japanese matcha and hojicha
Emotional Support Cookies, with loaded cookies and molten centres
The Clean Canteen, offering gluten-free, vegan, and refined-sugar-free treats.
They will join returning favourites including Tings, Taco Daddy, Pasta e Fagioli, and Banana Leaf Filipino Cuisine as part of a line-up featuring more than 40 food stalls and 20 artisan traders.
For the first time, the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) will partner with Subi Night Market to bring weekly live music and roving performances by talented students to the market.
Visitors can also look forward to free outdoor movie nights, a special Halloween celebration, Perth International Jazz Festival performances, free dance classes in the rotunda, giant chess, and live entertainment throughout the season.
Local distillery Spirit of Little Things will return with botanical cocktails and locally crafted drinks, while Meet Your Street will again give residents the opportunity to reserve a long table under the market lights for their neighbours.
Mayor David McMullen said the market continues to be one of the City’s signature events.
“After welcoming more than 130,000 visitors last season, the market will be back with even more to discover,” he said.
“Six new vendors and our first partnership with WAAPA make this the most exciting season yet.”
Subi Night Market will run from 5pm to 9pm each Saturday from 5 September 2026 to 8 May 2027, excluding Saturday 24 October 2026. Entry is free.
Market Square Park is located next to Subiaco Train Station and is easily accessible by train, bus, bike, or on foot.
